Simon Douek has made a name for himself as an entrepreneurial business executive that has worked in the consumer products, branding and licensing industry for decades. His experience and personal connections have led him to work with many prominent brands to grow their presence in their markets while increasing profits and brand recognition. He can leverage a vast network of senior contacts and has created new relationships to assist brands and manufacturers to achieve growth. Throughout his career he has negotiated and closed over 40 global licensing agreements creating billions of dollars in revenue with brands and manufacturers across multiple industries.

In 1990 he founded a $50 million/year electronics company, Gamla Enterprises North America, specializing in the distribution of portable consumer electronics and photo equipment to some of the nation’s largest retailers and smaller outlets and e-tailers. Over the years, he has grown that company from scratch to employ a multitude of employees to work with him. He has established relationships and negotiated exclusive purchasing agreements with multinational companies such as Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, Olympus, Fuji and more. He oversaw the wholesale distribution to domestic-based retailers including Walmart, Amazon, Costco, Overstock.com and over 500 local smaller domestic accounts. He also established and oversaw relationships with international distributors in Latin America, Hong Kong, Singapore, India and more.

In 2016, he established the Five Oak Brand Management team to lend his expertise in the industry and created a consulting and licensing company representing manufacturers and brands. At Five Oak, he believes that he can offer his experience, connections, and expertise to a variety of brands and manufacturers and lead them into the future.
